AXIS M5000-G PTZ Camera

AXIS M5000-G is a multi-sensor PTZ camera designed for indoor situational awareness. It combines three 5 MP overview sensors with a built-in PTZ camera that provides 10x optical zoom, allowing operators to move from a full area overview to detailed views with a single click. The camera can monitor indoor spaces up to 400 m² while displaying all views on a single screen, offering the functionality of four cameras in one device. The camera uses a 1/2.8 inch CMOS sensor for both the PTZ and overview cameras. The PTZ camera features a 4.7–47 mm varifocal lens with autofocus and supports 360° pan and 180° tilt. It delivers HDTV 1080p video, while the overview sensors provide 5 MP resolution with a 360° field of view. Video compression includes H.264, H.265, and Motion JPEG with Axis Zipstream for efficient bandwidth usage. AXIS M5000-G includes wireless connectivity through Z-Wave Plus, allowing communication with up to six smart devices such as temperature sensors or lighting controls. It supports Power over Ethernet, edge storage via SD cards or network-attached storage, and built-in analytics including AXIS Loitering Guard, video motion detection, audio detection, and shock detection. The camera is designed for indoor environments with an IP51-rated enclosure.
