AXIS M5000 PTZ Camera

AXIS M5000 is a multi-sensor PTZ camera designed for indoor situational awareness. It combines three 5 MP overview sensors with a built-in PTZ camera that offers 10x optical zoom, allowing users to move from a full area overview to detailed views with a single click. The camera can monitor indoor areas up to 400 m² while displaying all views on one screen, reducing the need for multiple cameras. The device includes a 1/2.8 inch CMOS sensor for both the PTZ and overview cameras. The PTZ camera features a 4.7–47 mm varifocal lens with autofocus and supports 360° pan and 180° tilt. It delivers HDTV 1080p video, while the overview cameras provide 5 MP resolution with a full 360° field of view. Video compression includes H.264, H.265, and Motion JPEG with Axis Zipstream for efficient bandwidth usage. AXIS M5000 supports Power over Ethernet and edge storage through SD cards or network-attached storage. Built-in analytics include AXIS Loitering Guard, video motion detection, audio detection, and shock detection. It also features Axis Edge Vault cybersecurity with signed video, secure boot, and encrypted storage. The camera is designed for indoor use with an IP51-rated enclosure.
