AXIS P1468-XLE Explosion-Protected Bullet Camera

AXIS P1468-XLE is an explosion-protected bullet camera designed for hazardous environments and certified for Zone and Division 2 according to ATEX, IECEx, and cULus standards. It delivers 4K video at up to 60 fps and is built on the ARTPEC-8 chipset with a deep learning processing unit that enables advanced analytics at the edge. Technologies such as Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR, and OptimizedIR ensure clear and detailed images in both low light and high-contrast scenes. The camera uses a 1/1.2 inch CMOS sensor with a 6.2–12.9 mm varifocal lens and provides a horizontal field of view from 108° to 49°. It supports H.264, H.265, and Motion JPEG compression with Axis Zipstream for efficient bandwidth usage. Built-in analytics include AXIS Object Analytics, AXIS Scene Metadata, video motion detection, tampering detection, shock detection, audio detection, and smoke alert. AXIS P1468-XLE features an impact- and weather-resistant enclosure with IP66, IP67, NEMA 4X, and IK10 ratings. It includes integrated IR illumination with up to 40 m range, supports PoE or 12–28 V DC power, and operates in temperatures from −40 °C to 60 °C. Advanced cybersecurity features include Axis Edge Vault, secure boot, signed OS, and encrypted storage.
