AXIS Q2101-TE Thermal Camera

The AXIS Q2101-TE is a thermometric thermal camera designed for large-scale remote temperature monitoring in industrial environments. It measures temperatures from -40 °C to 350 °C, enabling early detection of overheating equipment and helping prevent operational downtime. The camera supports spot temperature measurement and up to 10 polygonal temperature detection areas per preset for accurate monitoring. When mounted on a compatible positioning unit, the camera enables thermometric guard tours with up to 256 preset positions, allowing automated monitoring across large facilities. It also includes early fire detection analytics to identify abnormal temperature changes and potential fire risks. The camera uses a 384 × 288 uncooled microbolometer sensor and supports H.264, H.265, and Motion JPEG streaming with Axis Zipstream technology for efficient bandwidth and storage usage. Built on the ARTPEC-8 platform with a deep learning processing unit, it supports advanced analytics and third-party applications. Designed for demanding environments, the AXIS Q2101-TE features a rugged housing rated IP66, IP67, IK10, and NEMA 4X, operating in temperatures from -40 °C to 50 °C. With Axis Edge Vault cybersecurity, secure boot, encrypted storage, and network speaker integration for audio alarms, it provides secure and reliable thermal monitoring for critical industrial and infrastructure applications.
