AXIS Q2112-E Thermal Camera

The AXIS Q2112-E is a high-resolution thermal camera designed for advanced perimeter security and long-range detection. Equipped with a 640 × 480 uncooled microbolometer sensor, it provides reliable detection and verification 24/7 in complete darkness, smoke, fog, and challenging weather conditions while maintaining privacy. The camera offers six lens options (10 mm, 19 mm, 25 mm, 35 mm, 60 mm, and 100 mm), enabling flexible deployment with optimized detection distances for various security applications. It supports AI-based analytics such as motion detection, fence guard, loitering guard, and AXIS Perimeter Defender, and allows integration of third-party analytics through the AXIS Camera Application Platform. Built on the ARTPEC-8 platform with a deep learning processing unit, the camera supports H.264, H.265, and Motion JPEG streaming with Axis Zipstream technology to reduce bandwidth and storage usage. It can also be mounted on a compatible positioning unit to enable guard tours with up to 256 preset positions for wide-area monitoring. Designed for demanding environments, the AXIS Q2112-E features a rugged housing rated IP66, IP67, IK10, and NEMA 4X, operating from -40 °C to 60 °C. Built-in Axis Edge Vault cybersecurity with TPM 2.0 protects device identity, encrypts data, and safeguards the system from unauthorized access.
