The AXIS Q6225-LE PTZ Camera is a heavy-duty outdoor surveillance camera designed for operation in extreme environments. It delivers HDTV 1080p video using a 1/2-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and a 31x optical zoom lens for detailed long-distance monitoring. Lightfinder, Forensic WDR, and OptimizedIR provide clear images in both low light and high-contrast scenes. The integrated long-range IR illumination enables visibility in complete darkness with a range of up to 400 meters. Electronic image stabilization helps maintain stable video in windy or vibrating environments. The camera supports endless 360° pan, ±90° tilt, and precise positioning with up to 300 preset positions and guard tours for efficient surveillance. Powered by the ARTPEC-7 chipset, it supports H.264 and H.265 compression with Axis Zipstream to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. Built-in AXIS Object Analytics detects and classifies humans and vehicles and supports event-based monitoring scenarios. The camera also supports secure network protocols and integration with Axis and third-party video management systems. Designed for harsh outdoor conditions, the camera features an aluminum housing rated IP66, IP68, IK10, and NEMA 4X. It complies with MIL-STD-810G standards and withstands wind speeds up to 245 km/h. The device supports edge storage with SD cards, network storage, and is powered using High Power over Ethernet.
