AXIS XFQ1656 Explosion-Protected Network Camera

AXIS XFQ1656 is an explosion-protected network camera designed for hazardous industrial environments to improve safety, monitoring, and operational efficiency. It includes pre-installed smoke alert analytics that detect early signs of smoke or fire in combustible areas. AXIS Object Analytics enables detection of people in restricted areas and supports safety compliance through hardhat detection. The camera can integrate with industrial control and production monitoring systems to provide image-based data analyzed with deep learning algorithms, helping improve process visibility and reduce downtime. The camera features a 1/1.8 inch CMOS sensor with Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR for clear images in challenging lighting conditions. It delivers video at a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1512 at up to 50 or 60 frames per second and includes electronic image stabilization. The 3.9–10 mm lens provides a horizontal field of view of 81–47 degrees and a vertical field of view of 45–27 degrees. Video compression supports H.264 Baseline, Main, and High profiles and H.265 with Zipstream for efficient bandwidth and storage use. AXIS XFQ1656 supports Power over Ethernet Class 6 and includes security features such as signed OS, secure boot, and a Trusted Platform Module. It supports remote focus, remote zoom, and local storage through a memory card slot. The camera is outdoor ready with IP66, IP67, and IP68 protection ratings and supports AC input voltage from 100 to 240 V. Built-in analytics include AXIS Image Health Analytics, AXIS Live Privacy Shield, AXIS Object Analytics, AXIS Scene Metadata, AXIS Speed Monitor, and AXIS Video Motion Detection.
