Model Family: MINI-LINK 6200
Lease Pricing Available
The Ericsson MINI-LINK 6200 is the first long haul microwave system on the market designed to cater for 5G transport, bringing 5G connectivity outside the urban area with market-leading capacities over long distances — up to 10 Gbps over 35 km. With modulation of up to 4096 QAM and an improved bandwidth utilization of 10–35%, it is prepared for wider bandwidths of 80 and 112 MHz, providing best-in-class spectrum efficiency to make the most of available frequency spectrum. The system includes L2 and L3 support, up to 5 x 10G interfaces, low latency, and support for phase and time synchronization — all critical requirements for 5G networks. As part of the Ericsson Radio System, MINI-LINK 6200 facilitates easy and cost-effective site solutions and management, with four different building practices available depending on capacity needs and available space on site. Ericsson + 3 Long haul microwave solutions are used whenever there is a need for high capacities over relatively long distances, often in remote areas where microwave is the only viable option. Ericsson's long haul systems utilize the frequency range of 5–13 GHz and can enable capacities up to 10 Gbps per hop, supporting hops of up to 200 km

Know Your Gear

The Ericsson MINI-LINK 6200 is designed for telecom operators and service providers that need to extend 5G transport beyond urban areas into suburban, rural, and remote locations. It is ideal for deployments where fiber is not a viable option due to geography or cost, and where high-capacity, long-distance microwave backhaul is critical. The system integrates seamlessly into the Ericsson Radio System ecosystem, supporting unified site management and simplified rollout. Four building practices accommodate a wide range of site configurations and capacity requirements.
